The IQ900A flake ice machine head produces up to 980 pounds of ice daily in optimal conditions, with an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Production will decrease in warmer environments. Ice is distributed below the unit and can be collected in a bin, which is sold separately.

The machine's exterior and auger are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity. The unit is air-cooled with a top-mounted speed reducer and features an energy-efficient evaporator. A lighted rocker switch on the front panel allows easy on/off control. The front ventilation panel may add to the ambient temperature of the room, so operators should consider this when selecting a location.
